BNP Paribas expects only one more U.S. rate cut in 2019

NEW YORK (Reuters) – BNP Paribas analysts said late Wednesday they expect the Federal Reserve to lower key U.S. borrowing costs only one more time in 2019, with a 25 basis-point cut in September as an insurance against mounting risks.

On Wednesday, the U.S. central bank lowered key lending rates by a quarter point to 2.00%-2.25% for the first time since 2008.
