Atlanta Fed model raises U.S. third-quarter GDP view to 2.2%

(Reuters) – The U.S. economy grew at a 2.2% annualized rate in the third quarter based on the latest data on national manufacturing activity and construction spending, the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model showed on Thursday.

This was faster than the 2.0% pace estimated by the Atlanta Fed’s GDP program on Tuesday.
